Bernie Talmas for
     Woodinville City Council

Re-Elect Bernie Talmas to the Woodinville City Council

Woodinville City Council Position 7 on November 7, 2017

Bernie Talmas has provided principled leadership while serving the citizens of Woodinville as a Councilmember for the past eight years. Under his leadership as Mayor, he has restored and maintained Woodinville’s financial stability. City processes have been streamlined, reducing costs and providing funds for roads, paving and flood control.

Woodinville has preserved existing residential zoning while approving development and new roads downtown. Bernie spearheaded changes that saved the Carol Edwards Center--enlisting the YMCA to manage operations, increasing programming to offer a wider variety of choices to citizens and saving the City of Woodinville over $1,000,000 annually with these changes.

Bernie supports our wine and tourist industries and opposes the annexation and development of Sammamish Valley farmland.

Woodinville is gaining regional recognition under Bernie’s leadership. In his current Mayoral capacity, Bernie has served on the following committees:

  • Chair, Eastside Transportation Partnership
  • Chair, Sound Cities Public Issues Committee
  • PSRC Growth Management Policy Board
  • King County Regional Policy Committee
